About Us
How We Can Offer Free Services
The HOPE Center provides positive alternatives to unplanned pregnancies, working to meet both the needs of the woman and her child at every level. Our goal is to not only to offer pregnancy related services, but to educate, empower, and equip every women to choose life.
We educate on a number of topics related to our mission, including:
We are a volunteer, non-profit, non-denominational organization. We do not participate in political activities of any sort. Our center is run entirely by donations, and we exist strictly for the benefit of women and their children, born and unborn. We welcome all women and men, regardless of their age, race, ethnicity, religion, class, nationality, or sexual identity.
We provide free on-site pregnancy tests, supportive counseling, options counseling, and educational materials. We refer women for prenatal care, pediatrics, psychological aid, and other medical care as necessary. We help women find funding for prenatal care though a variety of public programs or insurance plans. We also provide legal referrals for adoption, child support collection, and other legal matters.
We have found that some women feel emotionally damaged after an abortion and need support and closure after the experience, often years after the actual abortion. To best serve women in this crisis, we offer a post-abortion recovery group. We offer this workshop regularly, and many women have been successfully helped by the program. We also provide referrals to therapists specializing in post-abortion difficulties and other local support groups.
The HOPE Center never profits from a woman's pregnancy choice. We are not an adoption agency, nor do we perform abortions.
